Submit to BULL

We're looking for good stories that address men's issues, span male perspectives, or otherwise appeal to a male audience. We want interesting and engaging, acute and insightful. BULL ain't the place for trash. While we're lukewarm to the highbrow taint and mild temper of the word "literary," we stress our inclination toward the equally ambiguous "thinking man."

If you think men would appreciate your stuff, we want to check it out.

We're also trying out the Submishmash submission manager, if you like. Same either way.

For accepted pieces we'll assume first-time electronic and online archive rights. In addition to gentlemanly thanks and camaraderie, all contributors will receive handsome color hardcopies as well as other BULL swag currently in the works.

Note: BULL respects the days when editors were editors—not just arbiters of a slush pile, but someone who will work with a writer for the sake of a great story. Which means you'll see quality, cared-for fiction on the site, and means your submissions might just kick off a fulfilling and congenial editorial dialogue.

Another note: BULL is intended as a resource and repository for Men's Fiction, and though we showcase Men's Fiction exclusively we have no intent to shut out or alienate any manner of reader or author. We invite submissions from any and every writer who believes their work squares with our purpose and aspiration. We look forward to hearing from you.
